The Impact of Words

Words we find all around us,

but most of them simply fly by.

We don't want to listen to them,

in fear that they will change who we are.

Many people look to be changed, but few actually want change.

Poetry is an escape where words can trenscend time.

Poets from thousands of year ago can captivate the yearning of the human heart.

Some of us are scared or lonely, and the prom helps us with it all. 

"My heart is restless until it rests in Thee"(Confessions) is a poem that has changed my life forever,

It taught me that life is not about what you get.

But about the person that you are at heart.

God is the pinnacle of life,

and when we help others we help him.

That is my goal, and poetry has helped me.

My heart is still restless, 

But with coming time hopefully it will become closer and closer to Thee.
