Impalpable Weapon
I'm the perfect murder accomplice,
yet I've never been offered the job.
I choose and control what you do.
I signal you to do as I please.
You will never leave my side,
till hell do us part.
How many faces I have,
you will never count them all.
Black humor washes through me,
counting the holidays invented because of me,
counting the numerous honeymoons I have made real,
counting the endless corpses I'm responsible for,
counting every last second of your very life.
The Irony behind it all is that you can control me,
yet for most of your life I lead you through hoops.
Like a fleshy puppet I push you as I will,
knowing all along you can take over whenever.
But you don't.
Caress him, I demand,
let your fingers run through his silky hair,
let your lips linger over his scrumptious skin.
Fuel me with your passion,
feel the rage of my power course through your veins
and let me decide the ending of this affair.
Enjoy him a little bit longer,
while there is still a chance.
deceive him with our charming game.
turn him on till he pleas for more.
Flash that innocent smile, stained with my blush.
Drag the knife slowly across his pulsing neck,
feel the warmth of my eternal red liquid
trickling down your fingers.
I kill my own kind.
How difficult it is to control my impulses.
I can make you love him to death,
make you taste heaven when you lie with him,
make you want to give up your life for him.
But I can turn the tables on you,
with a falter of my breath, he is a goner.
Betray my trust and you shall feel my wrath.
The poisonous adrenaline you nourish me,
the ideas you create about killing him,
it only makes me more powerful.
The sight of his limp body thrills me,
the silence of my dead brother satisfies me.
The change within your mind climaxes me
as you realize what I've made you do.
I am a part of you,
you cannot run away now.
You've chosen me to be your accomplice
without even thinking about it.
I make you fall in love,
I make you want to die,
I make you want to kill.
I am the impalpable weapon
that lives within you,
till hell do us part.
You are the one who chooses,
to love or to hate.
Who am I to decide,
I'm only your heart.
