Impatient

The wait is like a fetter on my heart.

The key is to break the silence between ,
Between the souls that lie inside of us.
I cannot be myself until you do.
But if we were to speak once more I fear,
I will be a different person still.
My mind can't contain the negative thoughts.
So until we meet again, I wonder.
