The Impenetrable Wall of Negativity

What always clouds are mind and what nags are soul

Is the simple truth to find our meaning through some long term goal

A plan seems to stick where only perfection prevails

But can one so flawed pick the right one of many trails

Not sure if I’m right I continue farther down the road

Although it just seems to get harder enlarging the load

However in this dense darkness I have two lights

A compass to cleanse me of my lost hopeless fight

Second I discover a map maybe I’m not just a worthless bot

But how do I tap into the potential of this reckoning plot

When I’m fully surrounded by some dark gloomy obscurity depriving me of sight

Pounded to continue I see no longer in me that burning light

For in my efforts to use my limited illumination

Deep inside my core I neglect all efforts darkening my situation

What point is there to try when failure is all too foreseeable

But still I go forth attempting then ending unable

All because of the abyss that resides within me and my negativity

Success right in front of me but I couldn’t see through pity
