The Imperfect World


 

If the world were perfect, imagine how boring that would be?

Everyone would be safe and happy, that is plain to see…

 

But now look deeper and see what cannot be seen;

Every person in society would have no reason to be mean.

 

And you may ask, “how is this a bad thing?”

Well, I answer it with a question, how many pink slips would it bring?

 

Every job associated with ensuring safety would be lost,

And this would be at a citizen’s cost.

 

But in the grand scope of things, the perfect world is different by interpretation,

And this is only my fabrication.

And yes fabrication, because there is no such thing as the perfect world.
