Imperfections
The actuality of people seems indescribably perfect.
But once a flaw is found, the truth is shown
Imperfections show the reality in a human being.
And finding a simple blemish is reassuring;
It’s a sense of normality.
Because when looking in the mirror,
searching a body up and down multiple times,
one person can find many faults,
while others could only see the purity of one.
We are never pure or perfect though,
we are broken and bruised and unperfected.
Perfection is what I strive for,
which only makes me fall harder and faster.
I have to be told that the world is
an imperfect place,
and a person is always incomplete.
