Imperfectly Perfect

Society's veiw on Flawless

is without blemishes or imperfection;

perfect

filtered

airbrushed.

Without a wrinkle or a crinkle.

The faces I see in magazines

and on T.V. are imperfectly imperfect.

Because their  beauty is not true

it is a beauty that is airbrushed

and see through.

I am perfectly perfect

with my imperfectly perfect imperfections.

With my crooked teeth

and lopsided mouth

I smile.

Because I know my perfect imperfections

make me perfectly flawless.
