Importance

There is only one way to love.

We work and work and still we fail

Taking our breaks and trying to resolve

Only to leave each other and devolve

We're cheated and hurt, hoping for someone

Different.

There is only one way to be pretty.

We work and work and still we are not enough

Fixing our flaws and hiding our faces

Only to be left out of the necessary spaces

We're judged and mocked, looking for a

Transformation.

There is only one way to success.

We work and work and still we make plans

Waiting for the inspiration that motivates

Only to chase an old idea of freedom that states

We're naive and young, so we simply hope for

Change.

There is only one way to be happy.

We work and work and still we press on

Making our money and saving our dimes

Only to waste it on bills and simple pastimes

We're dull and tired, waiting for an emotional

Revolution.

STOP

There is more than one way to love.

There is more than one way to be pretty.

There is more than one way to success.

There is more than one way to be happy.

We live and live and still we have more to experience

Filling our lives with meaning and cherishing memories

Only to know theres more to learn and discover

Yes, We are cheated and hurt, judged and mocked,

Yes, We are naive and young, dull and tired,

But we're also loved and cared for,

We're creative and curious, promising our

Importance.
