The Importance of 'I' in 'We'

I am.

You are.

We all.

I am a part of you. You and I are are a part of the collective.

"we".

Why should I,

be set aside from the collective we?

We are all human; broken, whole, and on the mend.

Whilst you are in your struggle,

I am

the one who will hold your tears, hear your fears, and be the constant throughout the years.

I am

the one who has been broken, at the lowest of low,

yet saw the light,

and rose from the ashes of broken dreams.

I am

the one you can look to,

and see failure is not the option.

But perseverence, love, and humanity for 'we' is what you need.

I am

the one who seeks to help the helpless

to love the unloveable

to give hope to the hopeless

and regain their humanity.

There is no you or me with out the 'we'

how else could you define yourself, if not from the whole?

As I break off from 'we'

I can see my past, present, and future.

Interwoven in the threads of existance,  weaving in and out of the 'we'

fixing, mending, helping to heal each 'you' in the 'we'.

As each individual 'you' heals their weak thread,

the society of 'we' will grow stronger as the number of healed becomes all the longer

I am

the one who will give strength when all mine was spent,

the one who give time as if my days arent also numbered.

My only goal is to be as I am, just that, me.

to hope and to heal

to set your mind free.
