The Importance of Love

It glitters like gold

It's crucial in our lives

When nourished it grows

It's demolished by lies

It's worth taking risks

When you find the right one

It's an unexplainable bliss

That gives you shade from the sun

Yet this thing called love

Is what we most abuse

We spread hate, and would rather be above

Than to help a stranger a lose

We need to come together

For us to become strong

Because when it comes to love

You don't realize you need it til it's gone
