Important Classes

School should prepare us for life after college,

Not only text book knowledge.

Teachers should teach us useful lessons,

And prepare us to leave adolescence.

Like paying bills or applying for loans,

Or buying a house and all the unknowns.

Instead of only focusing on core classes,

Why don’t we learn about income taxes?

We need classes that are instrumental

In helping us reach our highest potential.
