Imposter

I feel like an imposter

Happiness seems so foreign

I have trouble connecting

I feel as though I should feel more

Joy doesn’t come for more than a second

And it's not there when I think back

I remember with indifference

Memories play out in black and white

There's no emotions coloring them

They are just there

Am I broken?

I feel more drained everyday

Nothing seems worth it and I feel worthless

If today was my last day I would not face death with fear

I would not mind if I died

I would greet it like an old friend as it embraces me

Collecting my soul

And I would be no more

I would know no more
