Imposter Syndrome

I fight a mental battle each and every day.

No, it's not what you think. It is more imposterous as such.

I believe I am the weakest link in the knight's chain mail armor.

I believe I am the weakest point that will cause this structure to collapse.

 

Some say I am accomplished. I do not believe that to be true.

I believe it was luck that brought me here.

I believe that my capabilities are less than others.

 

I fight an invisible battle. I fight alone in my mind. This is a battle I believe I can win.

One day I will be the strongest link.

One day I will be the point to hold it all together.

One day I might be able to see what I've accomplished.

Today just is not that day.
