imprisoned but set free

trapped, no where to turn

the voices in my head tell me to run

escape the hell that is this place

take your life and feel at peace

i have finally hit

rock botton is the place i lie

with closed eyes

darkness was all i saw

someone must of heard my cries

they probably watched me fall

the scars on my arms

remind me to give thanks

to praise the one

who was there all along

i opened my eyes and saw the light

i gave thanks to the one who helped me fight

the one who paid the price

so thank you Christ
