Inability to Comprehend

When you look into my eyes Can you see what I desire? Can you see the future I envision? Can you see my soul on fire? When you touch my lips Can you hear the words I say? The opinions I have Can you feel how passionate I am? When you hold my hand Can you feel my strengths? With these hands I can heal Those who are in pain When you whisper into my ears Your words I hear very clear But in the background of your voice There are others that need me near When you run your fingers through my hair As you reach the end You rejoice at how easy it is But you must understand that everything that is easy was once gained with work and sweat I see you can’t see what I see I feel that you don’t feel what I feel You don’t understand the words I say Buy yet you want me near
