Inaudible

All the sounds of the earth crammed in as one,

lost without a voice,

but destined to save the day,

winds of all four corners of the earth ready to disburse,

all my worst nightmares in one lifetime,

lips locked together with that thread of black.

Heart as pure as the driven snow,

hair as black as a raven's wing,

eyes glowing green with envy,

but unaccepted by their kind.

There I stood all alone,

Left by the people that I once had trusted,

only to be raised by a pack of wolves,

bathes in dirt,

kills for food,

sleeps on the solid rocks,

only to be comforted by the howling of the wind.

Destined for greatness,

only to walk up to the door,

and fall back down.

The floor creaks as I enters,

and the room falls silent,

Peering in the room she I am not alone,

but with the presence of shadows,

all of my worst nightmares crammed in one room,

as the flames crawl up the walls I slam the door.

but only to hear silence once again.

Opening the door slowly,

I open it only to find it empty,

I look back towards the others,

They smile and I try to smile back,

the stitches that still tie my lips together,

slowly unravel falling to the ground,

the wind sweeping them away,

Once I was lost and now I am found.
