Incandescent Bliss

I had always wondered what is was like to be in love,

Such a strange concept.

How could someone ever feel that for me?

Why would anyone want to stick around?

The only concept of love I had was the cliche movies,

And still I wondered how could it possibly be that great?

All these wandering thoughts in my head have stopped-

It is now occupied by you.

The question for me has ceased to be "What is love?,

And is now "How could I have possibly experienced this with anyone else?"

However the answer is simple: I couldn't have.
