Incarcerated

I am the darkness,

Holding back the light.

Bitter, cold, and heartless,

Bearing only blight.

In a sea of humanity,

Washed upon the shore.

Radiating insanity,

Screaming at a locked door.

My soul keens in pain,

Bearing scarred patterns.

Bloody streamers of rain,

As my heart shatters.

My world in flames

I sink in chains
