Incessant Questions

What’s in a name? What’s in me? When you peer into my eyes What do you see? What’s in a home? Besides chore and lease? An asylum in which The world’s evils shall cease? What’s of the human? What lies in store? Of our destructive mentalities And thirst for gore? What’s in a dream? Sweet hope and peace? A grand slice of destiny Deep fried in grease? What’s of a purpose? Room without floor? Arduous task That drive you without bore? What’s in a star? Besides rock and gas A simpaternal reminder That this two shall pass? What’s of a life? Does it explain us all? We all keep climbing Yet who will fall?
