Incessant Shame
I laughed just to hide the pain
that grew and grew until it had no more room
I watched when you said your cruel jokes
But what was I to do
you created a scar that you can't see
you made me feel so unworthy
Now I reminiscence but not with joy
I remember the words that you spoke
and the despair I felt
but you don't remember anything
Now the mirror in my room only reminds me
of the day of shame
the day that you poisoned
with your venomous words
I will not live in this shame anymore
because you was the cause of it
