Incomplete

What am I
without poetry?
~~~~
A leaf
been loosed
from it's branch?
Flowing freely
and never able
to return home.
~~~~
A river
clogged up
by a dam?
Struggling hard
to pass through boundaries
and continue on its way.
~~~~
A body
separate
from its limbs?
Constantly moving muscles
that no longer
exist.
~~~~
A mind
shackled up
in its qualms?
Bathed in blackness
forever
wailing.
Forever
struggling
to get free.
~~~~
Without poetry
I would be
forever
incomplete.
~~~~
Forever
searching
for something
more.
~~~~
Something
very worth
fighting for.
TimidClover
The main things about me: I like to write poetry, and short stories, and draw, and create 3d models, and listen to music and watch tv shows and movies. I also like to contemplate the complexities of life.
