Incomplete

As I write to you many miles away,

I stay hoping and I pray,

That you will feel my heart travel out to you,

The only one I choose.

Can you feel me?

Reach to you with my being?

Without you here I don't feel a thing,

For you bring me to life like new spring,

A season in life where every flowers blooming,

You bring these blooms.

You make these feelings inside stay brewing.

It's a pot of butterflies that are twice a normal size,

Acrobats of passion strictly comprised.

A mix of fear and elation perfectly synchronized.

You are the master chief behind a dish so distinguished,

Words cannot contain the feeling it gives,

It cannot be englished.

You are ineffable,

Surrounded by an environment only tangible.

I embrace it.

I. Embrace. You.

Poems from the spaces between heartbreak and healing. I write to feel seen, to remember what it means to be human.
