Incomprehensible

Incomprehensible

A feeling so familiar

Yet not easily grasped

But anyone who utters the words "I Love You"

Have not stopped themselves and asked

"What do I want," What do I need?"

A significant other to lie in bed with me?

No...a relationship is much more

Something not too extreme, but also not a bore

Stick to me like guerilla glue

Loyalty and trust must be our truth

Communication is our conerstone

For without it, this would be a cyclone

And the world might dictate how things should be

Because for some reason, they find themselves deemed

A corrupt and perverse world trying to say how love seems

Yet in reality,

Only you know what a healthy relationship is, can't you see?

Incomprehensible for many, but comprehensible for those in need
