Inconsiderate

Loving you wasn't wrong but being with you was.
My passion wasn't in error, it was my kisses and hugs.

I shouldnt have taken that step. That set me steps back.
I was moving forward as desired but I was going off track.

It was bad that it was me but it was worse to bring you along.
I felt less of a man if I buried you in my wrong.

I tickled your emotions. I played with your heart.
Led you on thinking it was real knowing we shall depart.

I'm glad GOD stopped it. While it lasted, it was fun.
But in a spiritual sense, I was not the one.

Poetry is therapeutic to me. Over the years I have found a way to include it in anything and I love it. It helps me to keep my mind off of the things that I go through. Especially now.
