Indebted

Indebted to a moment of clarity,

oddly pulling me closer to a line.

I was primitive then, so ignorant, and paleolithic, and certainly behind.

Burdened by the proof that I was a monster.

I am still left here to wonder in this scenario,

this one massive and primordial scenario,

how I might continue to push this mind right across the lines,

and to run along with it.

I am indebted to these odd moments of clarity,

and now I have my shot to win this time.

I am indebted.
