Indecision

So many choices I could make,
a multitude of paths I could take.
Each is very appealing in its own way,
but I can only pick one,
and from it I cannot stray.

I start marching down my chosen path
to find myself in self-doubt.
I turn around, go back to the start.
I pick another,
one at the present moment looks better.

That path, like the first, is temporary.
Once again I turn around,
unable to make a decision.

The progression repeats itself.
I make a plan,
it changes.
I make another,
it changes.

I am forever in the cycle of indecision.
