Indecisive

Probably be overwhelmed

If I could change the world.

It’s like receiving a sudden reward for breathing,

Or something more absurd.

What did I do to deserve this?

That’s not the point.

I would be excited to change things,

As eager as an exclamation point.

I would mitigate the pain

From a traumatic stress syndrome

And replace it with only happy thoughts

Those that I condone.

I would spread tolerance

Because it is unknown to some

That a world without hate

Is something not to abstain from.

A world without hunger

May sound cliché

But some don’t have enough apples

To keep the doctor away.

There are many other things

I’d like to make better.

I wish everything would turn up

And there was no major problem I didn’t remember.
