Independence

All those around youmindlessly screaming

They know not what they want - neither do you

Staring into your eyes, almost seeming

As if they think you're staring at them too

You try to flee but you cannot escape

Uncertainty of night polluting day

Through  drama and trauma, terror takes shape

Your options have run out - you fade away

Ignore all life's overwhelming demands

And feel the chaotic serenity

Drown out the sound of constant cruel commands

And hear the cacophonic melody

Isolate yorself from condescendence

To reach a state of true independence
