Indigo

James 4:14 New English Translation (NET Bible)

14 You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life like? For you are a puff of smoke that appears for a short time and then vanishes.

Indigo

Mornings arriving constantly as dreams probed the future

Moments are sliding now towards an appointed time

Here the word frequently forms into its own posture

As it is residing more and more into a habit of mine

Faded promises support a call that was lost long ago

As procrastination flourished like a flower in the sunlight

The price paid after all hesitantly with the color indigo

To be later embarrassing to prove to be far from right

Surely deep corruption has been covered by white paint

The blemishes will appear for sure some years from now

Most will have forgotten as people’s memories will faint

Being replaced by constant fears that seem imposed somehow
