Individuality

I am from Kentucky and California,
Band, horses, dance, and sleep.
From my Italian roots,
From my Irish heritage,
From my German background,
From my European family.
Twin, little brothers, little sister, older brother, older sisters,
I am from homemade pasta,
From barbecue,
I am from big pot and endless love,
I am from individuality,
I am from friends, from family,
I am from truths, from lies,
I see my past, present, and future,
All bundled up as one.
My history is me, you, him, her, and them .
Individuals coming together to make one.
We are from each other,
We are from ourselves.
