Industrial Revolution

The Curious steps/

I take in small bounds/

The midnight hounds howling high/

Their darkened voices reaching the sky/

I walk along this unfamiliar path/

In the river Styx I take my bath/

Weakness has never derived from me/

I stare out into the bleak city/

The industrialists, the horse of Trojan lore/

They've turned my city into fallen lore, nothing but conquistadors/

The smoke and ash fills my lungs, it seems my final time has come./

Why, must I die so young? I thought I was invinsible, I should have held my tounge/
I'm only nine, but due to this revolution, i'm out of time.
