inequity of lost time
my hands are tied, through which time slips
part of life's song gone, as the record skips
my heart is beating this perpetual sound
to an unwound clock my heart is bound
counting away hours myself i spite
traveling continuous though no end's in sight
watching days pass then quickly fade away
never will i live what i should've today
fighting a never ending batlle of the heart
losing the race with time before i start
wanting to go by, knowing it won't come back
eternity is a short lap around an endless track
lagging behind while time heads toward infinity
losing the race of endless inequity
