The Inevitable

Time is irreplaceable.

My love, unmistakeable.

But you were replaceable.

Your love, mistakeable

Me I'm told i'm likeable.

You, you're told you're fightable.

I'm not mad at you, just sad

for you.

I wouldn't take it back if I could,

but I would tell myself

to be careful, before

he does the inevitable.
