The Inevitable Escape

You see the beautiful lies,

Flashing before your eyes,

In a deep oasis of your tangent memory.

The tears from your eyes,

The truth behind the lies,

All bring about a certain type of sadness.

The joyful sadness of the pain you bring,

The happy violence of the force you cling.

Speaking to reach, Speaking to mind,

A long search you shall never come to find,

For death cannot seek you and the devil cannot reach you. Forever misguided by the fiery intertwine,

As the light swiftly follows through the corrupted vine.

At ease as God takes me,

Praying that the devil doesn't break me.

So as the darkness leads me to my blind fate,

I'll always pray for my soul to reach those fine gates.
