Inevitable Love

I wish upon a star I get the other half of me

Because only god knows I have a bad habit of picking the ones who don’t deserve all of me

Someone I can love equally and whole heartedly

Someone I can tell all my secrets too

Someone I can find peace and comfort in

Someone I don’t have to fake the funk with

I’m not Rihanna I don’t think it’s love on the brain

I’m hoping I get the actual feeling just the idea of it gives me the shivers

Love that gives me healing

Someone who can make all my dreams come true

Love that comes home at 4pm and says “what’s for dinner “ ?

Love that cleans up on Sundays and plays music

I’m needing something that’s not just physical

I’m needing something that is stronger and doesn’t break as soon as the impossible happens

That’s why I call it inevitable love because I’m certain it will happen ...one day
