"The Inferno of a Father's Devotion"

As I dream, I see a world where I as a daughter was not protected by my father.

The world has a long line of hellish ways like my mother.

Like an extreme deception to the mind’s feelings,

My father protects me from heartbreak.

As I feel myself drifting,

I’m pulled back by my father’s devotion.

One who has devotion is one who has strength to refrain from inflicting pain,

Yet one who refrains merely inflicts himself,

So my father’s devoted pulls me from the dark abyss, I call memories.
