Infinite Sadness

Infinite Sadness

An infinite sadness has washed over me.

It’s cloaked me in a blanket, cold and heavy.

An infinite sadness has consumed my mind.

It’s drowned my brain in sorrow and insanity.

An infinite sadness has struck me blind.

It gobbled up my vision and the sun that shined.

An infinite sadness invaded my home.

It changed me, so I walk unrecognized.

This infinite sadness is forever mine.

It’s the only constant in my chaotic life.

Though this world may come and go,

This infinite sadness I will always know.
