Influence

Poetry, who knew it could bring so much of an impact in ones life. It saved me from grabbing a knife, and has allowed me to make a strive. Poetry has kept me alive and away from trouble out in the streets. I sometimes felt like dropping out of high school but poetry has kept me inside the school seats. Without poetry in my life there would have  been many defeats, which would had made me into a completely different person wondering the streets. I am forever thankful of poetry, because it has transformed that careless person into a new individual who now cares and has education as his main proirity. He whom stands as a miniority,  seeks to be someone in life, someone that would someday become independent. He now has a goal in life which to just be a dream but with motivation and dedication he WILL accomplish what just used to be a dream.
