James 4:17 “To know good and not to do it is sin”

To do well is not a sin ... but it all depends upon the manner.

What is the motive behind such and who is the foundation.

How deep is self-involved in it ... and the self’s natural goodness

or is the Holy Spirit part of it ... so to build on regeneration?

Sin and self are much different ... in sin’s absence self is still there.

The natural is creeping always ... through self towards consecration.

Even in the most Holy Work ... self is there to take all that's permitted

So in even the most spiritual walk ... self tugs at provided consolation
