Influences

My greatest mentor is myself.

I am the only one who should direct where I go.

I shouldn't be placed on anyone's shelf,

because my self-value is from what I sow.

Others may think that they know best,

but the only one who could is me.

They try to put me to the test,

and that is honestly beastly.

They aren't inside my head.

They do not know my thoughts.

I know what not to dread,

because now I call the shots.
