The Inhuman Human
People nowadays are only thinking
About themselves, their valuable stuff
Their family, parents, kids, friends
Their technological advances, phones machines
Their future, Their countries, their knowledge
If we learn what happened in the past
we will know humanity was, and is cruel
Having issues and wars everywhere, every time
We have even dropped two nuclear bombs,
Causing hundreds of thousands of diseases
Why are humans so selfish?
Thinking about everything they have, while others suffer
Thinking about themselves, while millions are whishing to have a good life
Focusing on their future, while millions, because of their situation,
will, unfortunately, not have a future
Focusing on our food, while millions and millions are starving
and some are working all day to survive
Also, nature give us al we have
From our food, our clothing
our jewelry, our benefits
our technologies, our oxygen
our water, our lives
Nature is very important to all the living creatures
Without all our food, we would die of hunger
Without our water and oceans we would die of dehydration
Without plants and trees, we will have lack of oxygen, and we would die
Without our shelters, homes and biuldings, we would be vulnerable
Without bees, almost every crop and every flower would be affected
Without ants, food chains would disappear
Without glaciers, sea level would significantly rise
Without forests, oxygen would not be present
And... Without humans?
Earth would not face contamination
Forests would not be transformed into desserts
Glaciers will not melt due of pollution
Thousands of species will not face extinction
Plastic will not remain in oceans for centuries
In conclusion, We are killing the Earth
We need to change our minds
For a better future
Not only for us, but for future generations
Lets make good decisions
Lets save and clean our Earth
Lets use our advantages our knowledge
Because, believe me, it´s really worth it
