Initiation

One chance to get in, one chance to make everyone proud.

All you have to do is give all the power to people who don't care about you at all,

To let someone who will enjoy breaking your spirit, to control you.

All you have to do is give up every piece of yourself until you become the perfect empty shell they want you to be.

Do whatever they ask, no arguments, second thoughts or hesitations.

You jump when they say jump and don't you dare let them see your weaknesses;

They will use it against you,

Their sole purpose is to break you down and destroy your individuality.

This is your initiation, the tests that will tell you if you can make your parents proud or not.

Initiation into the rest of your life, just listen and obey.

You no longer have a brain of your own or think for yourself;

You do what they say when they say it or you fail.

You become a disappointment that will never be able to do anything right.

So it’s all up to you in the end;

Give up yourself to people that want to see you fail and lose yourself,

Or stand up and decide you don’t need anyone's approval to be yourself.

Either way, you can’t get out of this initiation.
