Injustice

There are many people in our world. Different beliefs. Opinions. A beautiful thing. But with everything beautiful comes a price. Problems arise between us. A man standing before a beautiful sunset over an equally stunning ocean can choose which work of art he sees. And when he decides what is beautiful, no other man can change his mind. If he chooses the sunset and another man the ocean, the other man is wrong. This truth ensures the inevitability of injustice in our world. Though as each of us walk this world and see the injustice that will be on our paths, we don’t have to watch. Although the costs of taking a stand may be high, the gain is far greater. It is an amazing experience to save others from torment when we know in our hearts that their pain is unjust. Righteousness spreads in this way. Just one person making a stand can ignite the hearts of those around him who are still making excuses. It can get them to see the light and join in the cause. These people will share not only the loss, but also the gain. With all of these people working together, change will happen and good will be done. One person taking a stand can begin the course. This is why, even if personal loss is great, one must take a stand against injustice. If one person does not take this stand, many people will suffer great losses. We must all forget our excuses and our pride and work together toward a better world for everyone.

Suggestions: maybe you can break up this into stanzas or at least move it about so you know where to take a breath. It can be tough on the eyes when we only see a big block in front of us. It's a lot like the beginning of an essay or even a blog, I know it's free verse, so maybe to make look more like a poem with the format? A man standing before a beautiful sunset over an equally stunning ocean --Great, you give us an emotion, but I want color, description, movement, touch, sound, smell! This sentence works fine as it's own, but since beauty is your big theme, it would nice if you squish in some color:)
