Ink
Suddenly I'm in a room
I can feel them around me
Laughing
Talking
Living
I look up from my journal
I'm not like them
I am merely existing
A unique combination of atoms inside an invisible being
In that moment I am entirely alone
With only the words on the page in front of me
Thoughts suspended in my head
This era is made for the like mind
Decades of my nonexistent is where I should be existing
Not here
Not now
I pick up the pen
And write this poem
