Ink

As I write I can smell the ink. It is a comforting smell, that oddly calms my demons. This smell that consumes me as I write helps show my pain without self-mutilation. This writing is what gets me through the day. This writing is what shows others what I've done, what I've felt. All these reasons are what keep me awake, alive. I'll keep writing, I'll keep breathing in that ink perfume.
