Inky Inspiration

Sunny skies and scented candles do not give me inspiration.

Lava cakes or icecream are not what stimulates my soul.

What enlightens me are the darkest nights.

The moments where my heart is heavy laden

When my eyes release the ocean within them

The times when I run out of words and thoughts

When I have too many blank pages

What gives me inspiration is my ego

The part I never let the world see

The part that I fight every day
