Inner Change

Change is inevitable, at times a necessity,

Like the rise of a wave from deep within the sea

Which crests and crashes against the shore,

Washing away past traditions but creating many more.

The subtle awakening of the life of the Earth,

A gentle but everlasting state of rebirth,

Which graces the land with the freshness of spring

After the snowfall and chill that the winter does bring,

Or the turn of a page which surely will mark

The beginning of a journey on which to embark,

The start of a chapter anew in our lives

With which will come new experiences and ties.
