Inner City Struggle

One bullet to the spine will leave you paralyzed One bullet to the head can lay you in your eternal bed You can't tell me blood is blue when you bleed red We idolize when someone speaks their last words to be said Cry tears at thoughts of the blood that they bled As prayers go up wishing we had more time The bullets keep ringing I just rake my mind Why in the urban cities do we deal with this bind I dodged a bullet got to college made it out fine Explain why my brain is plagued with thoughts so wild Sickening how it really picks at me if I was a kid again I could reclaim my innocence Before I was witnessing the downfall of the innocent bullets fed to children like death is healthy for tha kids Clears throat like I'm preparing for the speech of my life then get slain by an evil individuals knife In the back Good night
