Inner Monologue

As the world turns a fire burns within my spirit, speaking directly to my heart and soul so I can hear it, directing me to the high road, guidance in life's travels, fortify my will to prepare me for my life's battles, surveying the scars brought on by haste & poor decisions, opening my eyes and blessing me with inner vision, and though my heart is weary & my head is so heavy, as long as my fire burns I will always be ready, stay true to myself & follow my intuition, harnessing my potential is my life's only mission, so I live this life the best that I can & never regret it, because within me burns potential for greatness...I won't forget it, I'll never let the weight of my doubts subdue & crush me, Unwaivering belief in myself, no one can touch me, and as I rise above & beyond all my ambitions, I knew I had it in me...thank God that I finally listened!
