The Inner Monologue Of The Unsound Mind

(What would it take for things to be quiet To fade away into a dreamless sleep To take a tumble down a hole that's six foot deep No longer having to force myself to breathe As if each breath was piercing my lungs For my heart beat to slowly disappear As it finishes it's song To no longer hear people ask me how I'm doing today As the world around me becomes mute For the color to drain from my skin As my lifeless body goes limp I long to make my bed a wooden casket Entertaining these thoughts is the only thing that puts me at ease While most people go to sleep dreaming of having kids and nice cars I dream of the day I'm finally six feet under the stars
